The Dead have announced Spring 2009 concert tour dates for 2009 featuring the same lineup that played at the excellent benefit for Obama. Concert ticket presales for the Dead begin January 13th.

Grateful Dead to Tour the US in 2009

Get ready Deadheads.

The Dead, formerly known as the Grateful Dead, who reunited in 2008 to perform a benefit concert in San Francisco to support Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama, will reunite in State College, Pennsylvania on October 13th also to support Obama.

Other Deadheads are abuzz that the Dead will tour the US with shows in the summer of 2009.
